The Pink Store was never supposed to become this serious.
It started as a school project: create an online store, build a brand around it and learn how everything worked. Simple enough, right?
Except somewhere between choosing the colours, designing the website, naming collections and spending a frankly unreasonable amount of time deciding which products belonged in which aesthetic… it stopped feeling like an assignment.
It became my baby.
I have always loved the way small details can completely change how life feels.
A pretty cup makes your morning coffee better. A cute lamp can transform an entire bedroom. The right accessory can make a basic outfit finally feel like you. None of these things are technically necessary, but neither is having 26 Pinterest board… and yet here we are.
That feeling became the heart of The Pink Store.
I wanted to create a place where girls could find beautiful things that matched the little worlds they were building for themselves. Not just one particular look, but every version of femininity: soft and romantic, clean and minimal, warm and cozy, glamorous and confident, playful and colourful… or a slightly chaotic combination of all of them!
Because realistically, no girl has only one aesthetic. On Monday, you might want to look like you have your entire life together. By Friday, you are adding bows to everything you own. Ngl both are valid.
The more I worked on The Pink Store, the more personal it became.
I obsessed over the colours, the collections, the product choices, the photos, the names and all the tiny details most people might never notice. I wanted every part of the store to feel like it belonged together and, most importantly, to feel exciting to browse.
Every collection is created around a mood, a feeling or a version of yourself you might want to step into. Whether you are in your coquette era, building your dream cozy space, embracing warm mocha tones or simply looking for something that makes you say, “I absolutely do not need this… but look at it,” there is a little corner here for you.
And yes, despite the name, everything does not have to be pink.
Pink is the heart of the brand, but The Pink Store is really about femininity, creativity and finding beauty in everyday life, whatever colour that happens to be.
The Pink Store is for the girls who save inspiration they swear they will recreate one day.
The girls who rearrange their rooms at midnight.
The girls who believe their iced coffee tastes better in the right glass.
The girls who want the practical thing, but in the cute version.
It is about making ordinary moments feel a little more special, not because your life needs to be perfect, but because you deserve to enjoy the small details of it.
What began as a school project became something I genuinely care about, something I am proud of and something I hope can grow alongside the girls who discover it.
There have been plenty of late nights, tiny breakdowns over website details and moments where I wondered why one “simple” change somehow created seventeen new problems. But watching everything slowly come together has made it worth it.
I love what The Pink Store has become. It feels like a little piece of me, built for girls like us, and I hope you love being here just as much as I loved creating it.
Welcome to my very pink corner of the internet. 💕
With love,
Jade, The Pink Store
